Our Community Impact

Here’s a look at what we’ve achieved together so far:

At Fawzia Sultan Healthcare Network (FSHN), we believe that healthcare goes beyond treatment—it’s about adding value, making a difference, and touching lives in meaningful ways. We don’t just operate as a healthcare provider; we see ourselves as part of the community we serve. Every initiative we undertake is rooted in compassion, connection, and a deep commitment to people, not profits.

Working hand-in-hand with our clinicians, we dedicate time and energy to meet people where they are—whether that means inviting them into our space, joining them in theirs, or creating safe platforms to learn, share, and grow. Our goal is simple yet powerful: to leave a positive trace and make a lasting difference.

Bayan Bilingual School

We delivered a series of specialized pediatric workshops designed to empower educators and families. Topics included:

  • Sensory Awareness
  • Handwriting Essentials
  • School Readiness Skills

These interactive sessions, covering fine motor skills for handwriting, sensory processing skills, and school readiness activities, equipped participants with practical strategies to better support children’s growth, learning, and overall development.

U.S. Embassy Mental Health Awareness

We were honored to take part in the U.S. Embassy’s Mental Health Awareness event in Kuwait.

  • Top clinical psychologist in Kuwait, Fatima Al Suliman, shared insights on the connection between emotions, thoughts, and behaviors on mental health, introducing CBT and mindfulness techniques.
  • Amir Zourob, Psychiatrist, highlighted common mental health conditions, early warning signs, and strategies to create supportive environments.

The discussion was both impactful and inspiring, reinforcing our shared mission to promote mental well-being and eradicate the stigma surrounding mental health services.

NBK Collaboration

As part of our commitment to supporting NBK’s employee development, FSHN hosted a dynamic 45-minute talk led by Clinical Psychologist Fatima Al Suliman.
The session blended two essential topics:

  • Empathy & Emotional Intelligence
  • Effective Communication

Participants explored emotional awareness, active listening, psychological safety, and conflict resolution in a relaxed, interactive setting—ending with a Q&A full of practical takeaways for both work and personal life.
